For the past 31 years, The National Institute for Scuba Diving In Lebanon, NISD, has worked hard to become the safest and most prestigious Dive Center and School located in Lebanon.

Conveniently located in the heart of Beirut in the “Beirut Marina Solidere”, we provide you with the quickest access to the top diving locations in and around the Lebanese country. "Shark Point", "Sting Ray Reef", "Anchor City (AUB Canyon)", the “Riviera Caves, the ship wrecks of the “Macedonia”, “Alice B”, “The Lesbian”, and “The Souflleur” are just few of the dives we conduct almost regularly not to forget to mention our dive trips to the South and North of the country, diving all the other great sites, wrecks and surely the "HMS. Victoria".

Our Scuba Diving Center offers everything for your scuba diving needs both for sale and for rent. Did we mention that we also offer scuba diving instruction? Yes, whether you are looking for your first scuba diving lessons, a Technical or a Scuba Diving Instructor Course at any level, our scuba diving school covers it all. Our experienced scuba diving staff can instruct you in any of these levels safely and much more.

The Center operates with 3 dive boats, the Enterprise (31 ft) and the Dive Trek (33 ft), and the SS1 (20 ft) each equipped with an emergency Dan oxygen case, a complete Medic First Aid kit and a state of the art electronics; depth finders, GPS, and VHF Radios for a continuous contact with our dive base for full land support.

Our filling station by L&W has been upgraded with a booster pump, filling all gas mixtures with an excellent reliability in speed and in air quality control, making it one of the best filling stations in the country.

NISD, The National Institute for Scuba Diving also offers Specialty & Private charters. If you are interested in chartering one of our boats, you can select one of our special charters which include Wrecks, Night Diving, Private training and Sun Set Cruises.
