Syrian Jet Remains at 35 m

Beirut, 25 December, 2006

The Remains of a Syrian Jet Fighter was discovered off Tripoli by the NISD Dive Team.

The Jet is resting at a depth of 35 Meters which makes it suitable for Advanced Deep Divers.

The NISD team has taken some photos of the Jet remains.

And more photos below.

The plane was most probably shot down in 1982.

NISD will be organizing regular dive trips to this location.

Dives on this Jet will be announced on the web site and via e-mail, when the weather conditions allow it.
